Dr. James Taylor is a nationally respected clinician, educator, and thought leader in clear aligner therapy and digital dentistry. With over 25 years of experience and postgraduate training in orthodontics, implantology, aesthetic and restorative dentistry, he brings a rare level of multidisciplinary expertise to his teaching.

James is the founder of The Dentist, an award-winning private practice known for its cutting-edge digital workflows and full-scope patient care. He’s a UK Clinical Expert for SureSmile, a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona, and an international speaker who has lectured across Europe and the US on advanced orthodontics, clear aligners, and CAD/CAM integration.

He is also a faculty member of CDOCS GO, one of the leading platforms for digital and orthodontic continuing education, and has mentored hundreds of clinicians through JT Dental Academy and bespoke 1:1 training programs.

What makes James unique is his ability to break down complex treatment concepts into practical, repeatable workflows — combining aligners with restorative and implant protocols in a way that is both evidence-based and highly applicable to everyday clinical practice.

In addition to his clinical teaching, James also holds the Certificate in Financial Planning (CII), allowing him to support fellow dentists not just in clinical growth, but also in the business strategy and long-term success of their practice.
